Role Summary/Purpose
Mechanical Field Service Engineer, Gas Turbine will be in charge of site activities management including planning, assigning manpower resources and tools, providing technical assistance to complete the work scope according to contractual requirements.

Essential Responsibilities
In particular, Mechanical FSE will be responsible for:
- To GE Oil & Gas offices, prepare field services jobs and interventions with the project managers.
- Lead and execute foundation and soft foot check and adjustments.
- Lead and execute assembly/installation of GT auxiliary as ventilation / inlet / exhaust duct, air inlet filter house and the relevant structures
- Lead and execute auxiliary skids installation (fuel gas skid, lube oil cooler and console, etc…)
- Lead and execute independently a combustion inspection including: combustion chamber disassembly and assembly with the relevant devices as cross fire, liners, etc… and be able to inspect the part dismantled and evaluate the status. (Only for GT maintenance)
- Lead and execute independently a boroscope inspection including evaluation of the blade status and the boroscope result.
- Lead and execute GT alignment using dial indicators and be able to perform coupling installation.
- Assist Start-up Engineer during the commissioning phase ensuring proper and safe operation of the machine by evaluating the running parameters and troubleshoot control system problem as they arise
- Write accurate professional reports acting as single point of contact between Customers and GE Oil & Gas Headquarter concerning technical issues and interfacing with all involved functions
- Use company e-tools to retrieve technical documents and management of packing list, bill of material and drawings
- Ensure all in-field activities carried out safely complying with company environmental health & Safety (EHS) guidelines and procedures.
The candidate will be responsible to keep reliability of Customers assets and to support on proactive way all GE O&G customers

Qualifications/Requirements
- Mechanic Engineer Degree or Technical High School- 3 - 5+ years related work experience in Oil & Gas industry maintenance or installation field activities- Strong knowledge of Gas turbine Equipments (Heavy Duty, Aeroderivative, Aircraft engine) and their auxiliaries (lube oil system, fuel gas system, etc…)- Ability to understand and implement mechanical drawings (GT section dwg; GT and auxiliaries construction dwg; P&ID; alignment specification, flushing/blowing procedure; piping specification; etc…)- Good knowledge of English language - Availability to frequent travel worldwide (on and off-shore)- Strong analytic and problem solving skills- Good interpersonal & organizational skills- Computer skills

Desired Characteristics
- Good knowledge of GE Heavy Duty and GE Aeroderivative Gas Turbine- Good experience in HGPI and major inspection or modular/engine exchange activities- Knowledge of Oil & Gas Installation and Maintenance Equipment philosophy- Laser alignment device knowledge.
