Role Summary/Purpose
The purpose of this role to provide leadership to PT GE Nusantara Turbine Services (PTGENTS) - the Bandung, Indonesia Service Center, by demonstrating accountability for functional, business, and broad company objectives. In this role you will integrate and develop processes that meet business needs across the organization, manage complex issues within functional areas of expertise, be involved in long-term planning, and contribute to the overall business strategy.


Essential Responsibilities
Successful candidate will report to the Network Service Center Leader - Asia, Gas Product Line in GE Energy and the Board of Directors for the joint venture. He/she will:

·Have overall ownership, operations execution and project leadership of the facility
·Ensure compliance with all customer internal and external) and contract requirements
·Interface and manage projects as necessary with the marketing, sales, commercial, operations, quality, and engineering teams
·Drive for excellence in the key areas of cost control, Environmental Health & Safety standards, LEAN and Quality, and overall productivity
·Provide effective team leadership to enhance cost effectiveness and create a lean, consistent and effective workforce
·Help to identify local service opportunities
·Maintain compliance of GE policies and quality initiatives
·Interface with Customers regarding work in progress, service offerings, and other service related activities
·Maintain positive and constructive employee relations

Qualifications/Requirements
1. Engineering degree or equivalent experience. 2. Significant prior business leadership experience in a multinational company3. Demonstrated ability to lead & motivate teams to achieve business goals. 4. Demonstrated problem solving and leadership skills. 5. Ability to communicate at all levels of the organization 6. Strong interpersonal and communication skills; integrative team working style. 7. Ability to make decisions in the face of limited or conflicting data. 8. Commercially savvy with strong operation skills

Additional Eligibility Qualifications


Desired Characteristics
1. Experience in a like or similar operation with relevant technical experience in engineering, quality control, shop operations, sales and marketing. 2. Six Sigma skills 3. Trained or exposed in multi-management disciplines - Finance, Business Development and general management.
